Conduct battlefield air support for our troops attempting to move inland off the Normandy beaches. Knock out inland German troop concentrations before they can form a deadly armored counterattack. Destruction of tanks is of primary importance.
Maximum effort. Ten squadron airplanes are available for this mission.
